The programme offered for Transition Year students from Ireland this year will run from 20th September, 2015 to 20th June, 2016. Students can choose to do the full year course, or either a six, eight or twelve week course commencing 20th September.
Students will have 20 hours of Spanish tuition per week in small groups. The groups will be formed according to student’s individual needs.
There will also be a minimum of 10 hours per week of Spanish culture, art, history, cookery, dance and music. These will include excursions to places of local historical or cultural interest.
Accommodation is with local families and will be within the town of Coin, located in the hills 25 km from Malaga, 25 km from Fuengirola and 30 km from Marbella. Students will have all meals with their host families. Host families will also do their laundry and students will have their own individual room.
Sporting facilities in the town include tennis, football, paddle tennis, a well equipped gym and an indoor, heated pool.

The Centro de Idiomas language school in Coin has been run since 1999 by Valerie Jeffrey who graduated in modern languages from Trinity College, Dublin, after having completed her secondary school education in Alexandra College, Dublin.
The Centro de Idiomas offers a variety of languages, specialising in Spanish and English courses and is located in the centre of Coin, a town of some 22,000 inhabitants in the province of Malaga.
